Dan McCallum has litigated cutting-edge antitrust and intellectual property disputes for nearly 15 years. Prior to joining Kressin Powers, Dan served as the head of litigation at an S&P 500 technology company, providing strategic guidance on disputes including antitrust, copyright, trade secret, securities, patent, privacy, advertising, and complex commercial litigation.
Dan combines his courtroom experience and executive leadership to achieve the right business outcome for his clients. He counsels clients on antitrust and intellectual property issues, guiding them through legal risks with business objectives always at the forefront. While in-house, Dan successfully navigated matters before the FTC and regularly advised the business team on antitrust issues and acquisition strategy. On the intellectual property front, Dan was the key architect behind one of the largest copyright lawsuits ever filed.
Following a clerkship on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Dan practiced at a large, multinational law firm, managing multidistrict antitrust lawsuits for both plaintiffs and defendants. He also served as a partner at a boutique law firm in Washington, DC, where his practice focused on litigating complex intellectual property disputes.
